Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a harmonious, safe and inclusive environment where all children can thrive with a sense of belonging. Little things matter to us such as outdoor and indoor spaces, materials and toys that inspire play, healthy food and a natural rhythm of daily activities, to ensure that children have the best possible experience of their precious childhood in a home away from home.

Our Team

We are a friendly team of passionate early years educators. All classes are taught in English.

We aim to ignite a life-long love of learning by fostering the child’s natural curiosity for the world around them, and inspiring their innate love, connection, and respect for the world.

Child Adaptation

We believe that a smooth transition to a new environment is crucial for young children. In order to ensure a smooth and stress-free transition, we encourage parents to spend the first few days coming to the kindergarten with their child in order to ensure that they feel safe and comfortable before being dropped off on their own.

Our Pedagogical Philosophies & Approaches

We provide a holistic approach to education, designed to meet each child where they are developmentally. Children are given time to explore, play and create on a daily basis. Woven into our curriculum you will find Waldorf and Montessori educational approaches, which use a variety of creative and educational methods to stimulate the child's imagination and interest in science, encouraging curiosity from an early age.

Activities

To support natural cognitive development at this stage, our wide range of activities provide opportunities to develop and strengthen hand-eye coordination, dexterity, fine and gross motor skills and problem-solving skills. We encourage independence and build self-confidence and resilience.

The child is reassured by the recurring rhythm of the day, week and year through repetition of activities;

  • Songs and rhymes accompanied by movement and gesture.

  • Practical activities such as gardening, cooking, handwork and tidying up.

  • Artistic activities such as painting, drawing and modeling and structured Montessori educational activities.

  • Daily outdoor activities and regular nature walks, which cultivate awareness, love and care as we learn about the natural world we are a part of by engaging our senses.

Location

Our kindergarten is located in the heart of Koh Phangan in a beautiful secluded jungle area with a large outdoor area next to a waterfall and streams where the children can feel safe and connected to nature. It also has easy access to the main road and is only a 10 minute drive from Thong Sala, Srithanu & Chaloklum.
